東京メトロの新型コロナの英語アナウンス 5

東京メトロは、国土交通省の要請で列車の運転本数を減らすことになった。

日頃から、新型コロナウイルス感染防止対策へのご協力ありがとうございます。東京メトロでは、緊急事態宣言の発令に伴う国土交通省からの要請を受け４月３０日、５月６日、７日の平日は、銀座線、丸ノ内線、東西線、南北線では通常より運転本数を減らして運転いたします。都道府県をまたぐ不要不急の移動をお控えいただくと共に、テレワークにご協力ください。詳しくは駅係員にお尋ねいただくか、ホームページをご確認ください。

英語版は以下の通り。電子掲示板に表示されている通り原稿は作られている。しかし、前回同様、英語版の音声アナウンスはされていない。

写真を見ると分かるが、英語版には誤植がある。「daily cooperation」とすべきところが「daily corporation」になっている。「corporation」は株式会社の意味である。スペルチェックでは引っかからない系の間違いである。これは上の「引用」では修正してある。文脈的に問題があるのは、「as well as in working from home」である。「不要不急の移動と共にテレワークもお控えください」となってしまっている。これを正しい意味に直すには…私にそこまでの語学力がないのが残念である。
